Dancehall musician and record producer Shatta Wale recognises the effects of bad press but not worried.

He made the revelation on Twitter Tuesday, March 19, following a report that he was sacked from stage during WatsUp TV Legon Hall Week Artiste Night concert held over the weekend.

According to a report filed by GhanaWeb, Shatta Wale’s performance was interrupted by a scuffle which broke among the students of the university.

Shatta Wale responded by jabbing them on social media but now claims he is okay with the bad press as long as his name is spelt right.

He added that his friend advised him to accept bad press.

“Ah well, am not worried about bad press all I need is they just spell my name right…a dear friends advice…SHATTA WALE ..ONLY ONE MAN,” Shatta Wale tweeted.

This is not the first time the “Kpuu Kpaa” hitmaker has bashed the press. He has been at loggerheads with the media since his comeback about four years ago.

He has always jabbed the press via his social media and sometimes through his music.
