I’m not obsessed with getting a higher position – ACP Kofi Sarpong on IGP role

Renowned Gospel Artiste and Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Kofi Sarpong recently clarified rumors suggesting he could potentially become Ghana’s Inspector General of Police (IGP).

In an interview with Joy Prime TV, ACP Sarpong emphasized that while he appreciates the sentiment, his current focus is on supporting the incumbent IGP, George Akuffo Addo Dampare, in improving the police service.

During the interview, ACP Sarpong emphasized that he is not obsessed with attaining a higher position and is fully committed to his role of enhancing the police service under the leadership of the current IGP. This clarification aimed to address speculation and provide clarity on his career aspirations.

The Gospel Artiste also highlighted the importance of collaboration and teamwork within the police service to achieve common goals and uphold professionalism.
