Madam Juliet Bosso, the mother of Vincent Bosso, 34, who was convicted and dismissed for conspiracy to rob, has stated that she will alter her son’s name as soon as he is freed from prison.
Madam Juliet Bosso, currently known as Vincent Bosso, has stated that she wishes to name her son Succeed Bosso. She also stated why her baby is named Vincent.
Ms. Juliet Bosso revealed this in an exclusive interview with EIB Network Legal Affairs Correspondent Murtala Inusah, shortly after Nsawam Medium Security Prison Authorities postponed her son’s release till Saturday, March 23, 2024.
The High Court in Accra has ordered Daniel Asiedu, nicknamed Sexy Don Don, to commence his defense against the accusation of murder of Joseph.
Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu was involved in robbery.
This came after the Court determined that State Prosecutors led by Mrs. Sefakor Batse had shown prima facie evidence against him.
Asiedu has pleaded not guilty to murder and robbery and is being tried while in lawful custody.
Meanwhile, Vincent Bosso, who is on trial alongside Asiedu for conspiracy to rob, has been cleared and released.
On Tuesday, March 19, 2014, following the conclusion of the prosecution’s case, Justice Lydia Osei Marfo, the trial judge, ruled that the prosecution failed to prove a prima facie case against Agongo.
Agoogo and Asiedu have been on remand for the last eight years.
EIB Network Legal Affairs Correspondent Murtala Inusah, who was present in court, claims that Bosso burst into tears in the docket moments after being acquitted and freed.
Prior to his death on February 8, 2016, Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu served as the New Patriotic Party’s Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North.
Justice Marfo has already ordered Sexy Don Don to file a witness statement for himself and those he plans to bring as witnesses by April 15.
