A recent survey by Reputation Poll International ranked Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, the inspector general of police, among the 100 most respectable leaders in Africa.
The poll also included the names of a few other prominent figures in the nation, including Dr. Mensa Otabil and Apostle Eric Nyamekye, the chairman of the Church of Pentecost.
Those who have established a solid reputation and made noteworthy achievements in their respective disciplines are honored by the poll.
The 2024 list of Reputation Poll International (RPI), a renowned reputation management and public relations consulting firm, has been released. This annual publication of 100 Most Reputable Africans honors people who have made noteworthy contributions to their fields and have developed a solid reputation.
ICGC General Overseer Dr. Mensa Otabil, Apostle Eric Nyamekye of The Church of Pentecost, Cardinal Peter Turkson, and Inspector General of Police Dr. George Akuffo Dampare are among the notable Ghanaians on the list.
The list also includes Fred Swaniker, Roberta Annan, Eric Yirenkyi Danquah, Hon. Sophia Karen Edem Ackuaku, Dr. Sangu Delle, and HRM Drolor Bosso Adamtey, all of whom are from Ghana.
The “100 Most Reputable Africans” list for this year features a wide range of people from the worlds of politics, commerce, entertainment, and human rights advocacy.
In the business sector, notable individuals include Britain-Sudanese millionaire Mo Ibrahim, Nigerian Femi Otedola, and Zimbabwean Kenneth Sharpe. Acknowledged for their accomplishments, the list also features individuals like Beninese musician Angelique Kidjo and Zimbabwean-American actress Danai Jekesai who are making a positive social impact and promoting business in Africa.
The collection highlights people who are dedicated to bringing about positive change, highlighting how resilient the African continent is. It is a motivational example of the many talented individuals working to improve the lot of all Africans.
