Bofoakwa Tano board member JY Appiah has laid out the club’s ambitious plans of competing in the CAF Confederation Cup should they emerge victorious in the upcoming FA Cup final.
Their journey to potential glory was marked by a hard-fought 2-1 victory over reigning champions Dreams FC at the WAFA Park. Goals from Dacosta Aboagye and Elijah Addai secured their spot in the finals, despite a late consolation goal from Abdul Jalilu for Dreams FC. The team held strong to book their place in the championship clash.
Looking ahead to the finals against Nsoatreman FC, who overcame Legon Cities in the semis, Appiah expressed his confidence in their abilities during an interview with Peace FM. “Yes God will back us to go we are determined we are walking with God so we are determined,” he stated.
With their focus now set on the finals, Bofoakwa Tano is resolute in their pursuit of continental success. However, before their cup final showdown, they will first have to navigate a crucial league encounter against league leaders Samartex, adding to their already busy schedule.
As they continue on their path to potential FA Cup victory and a shot at the CAF Confederation Cup, Bofoakwa Tano remains focused and determined to make their mark on the African football scene.
