Ibrahim Tanko announces a 26-man squad for Algeria’s U23 AFCON qualification

In preparation for the 2023 CAF U23 Championship qualifier against Algeria, Ibrahim Tanko has named his 26-man squad.

On Wednesday night, the Black Meteors are scheduled to fly to Algeria for the first leg match, which will take place at the 19 May 1956 Stadium in Annaba.

Prior to their departure for Annaba, Algeria, the team trained on Wednesday morning.

Ghana wants to advance to the U23 Championship and compete for a spot to play in the Paris-hosted 2020 Olympic Games.

Ghana’s participation in the tournament, which will be held between June 24 and July 8, 2023, will be confirmed with a victory in the two-legged match.
