Ghanaian winger, Ibrahim Sadiq, has once again shown his talent by clinching the Man of the Match title in AZ Alkmaar’s thrilling comeback against RKC Waalwijk.
The game looked bleak for AZ Alkmaar as they found themselves trailing in the first half, with David Min scoring two goals for RKC Waalwijk.
However, Sadiq’s entry into the game in the second half completely turned the tide. In just four minutes, he provided an assist to Yukinari Sugawara, sparking AZ’s comeback. Sadiq continued his stellar performance by scoring the equalizer nine minutes later, displaying his skills and abilities on the field. The comeback was completed by Vangelis Pavlidis, securing a 3-2 victory for AZ at the AFAS Stadion.
Since joining AZ from BK Hacken last summer, Sadiq has been proving himself as a valuable player for the team.
With a goal and two assists in 12 Dutch Eredivisie appearances, he is making a strong case for a permanent spot in the starting lineup. S
