Ibrahim Mahama, the Chief Executive Officer of Engineers & Planners Limited, has shown his philanthropic side by donating 20 police vehicles and three electricity power generators (1,200 KVA) to the Liberia Airport Authority in Monrovia. The generous act was carried out in the presence of Liberian President Joseph Boakai and Vice President Jeremiah Koung on July 21.

During the presentation in Monrovia, Mr. Mahama expressed his concern for the needs of the Liberia Airport Authority. He emphasized his strong bond with the country, which motivated him to make this valuable contribution to ease the government’s burden.

Acknowledging the support he received, Mr. Mahama shared, “I didn’t waver and through the help of the Vice President… I made sure that I worked… They are here, and I had to come.” His dedication to helping Liberia stems from his belief that it is a second home for him, and he is committed to enhancing the country’s growth and development.

The donation of police vehicles and generators was well-received by President Boakai, who expressed gratitude for the timely assistance. He assured that the resources would be utilized effectively for the benefit of the nation.

Ibrahim Mahama’s positive impact extends beyond Ghana, as evidenced by his company’s involvement in opening up the Liberian economy to commercial mining activities. Through the contract with ArcelorMittal in Yekepa, Liberia, E&P provided employment opportunities, contributed to the economy through taxes and duties, and facilitated knowledge transfer to enhance Liberia’s workforce.

By training young Liberians and offering them work experience, E&P played a crucial role in preparing the country for future economic opportunities. Ibrahim Mahama’s dedication to supporting Liberia’s development demonstrates his commitment to fostering progress and prosperity in the region.
