Ian Book, a quarterback, was born on March 30, 1998. Ian was born in El Dorado Hills, California. He switched from his initial commitment to Washington State to Notre Dame. Book is a member of the National Football League’s Philadelphia Eagles (NFL). Bookrepresented Notre Dame in college football and the New Orleans Saints selected him in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Book participated in the varsity football program at Oak Ridge High School.
On December 23, 2021, he was named the starting quarterback for that specific week after Taysom Hill and Trevor Siemian were placed on the reserve/COVID list. He ended up starting at quarterback for the Saints for the fourth time during a season hampered by injuries. Book had his first start in the NFL and first start overall, going 12-20 for 135 yards and two interceptions.
In that contest, the Miami Dolphins defeated the Saints 20-3. On August 30, 2022, Book was published by The Saints. Also on August 31, 2022, the Philadelphia Eagles claimed Book off of waivers.
