West Ham United star, Mohammed Kudus, recently revealed that he supported the Ghanaian football club, Hearts of Oak, during his upbringing. The Phobians have a rich history in African football, boasting 21 Ghana Premier League titles and three continental titles.
Hearts of Oak’s impressive resume includes winning the CAF Champions League in 2000, the CAF Super Cup in 2001, and the CAF Confederation Cup in 2005. Additionally, they hold the record for the most Ghana FA Cup wins, with 13 titles to their name.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Kudus fondly recalled his support for Hearts of Oak, describing the atmosphere as “crazy” in the city of Accra where he grew up. The talented player has been in exceptional form for West Ham this season, scoring 16 goals in 38 games during his debut campaign for the club.
