Yul Edochie, a well-known Nollywood actor, has disclosed how he came up with the catchphrase “No gree for anybody,” which is currently trending.
The actor, who has recently been under fire for his marital difficulties, acknowledged that he brought up the trending phrase at the beginning of the year.
After research revealed that the slogan originated from a post he made on December 29, 2023, on Facebook and Instagram, the actor claimed he should be given some credit for it.
He quotes, “People have been telling me that it was Yul Edochie who started the slogan ‘NO GREE FOR ANYBODY’.
They claimed that my post on December 29, 2023, which went viral on Facebook and Instagram, was the source of it. However, I want to clarify that I had no intention of starting a slogan and it was merely a thought I shared on social media.
“I have investigated the matter. Oh, it appears to be true. So make una dey give me my credit oo,” he wrote, stressing on it since it came from him and claining the main ownership as the builder.
