Kennedy Agyapong, MP, has pledged his support to Mahamudu Bawumia and has urged the members of the New Patriotic Party to unite to break the 8.
Ken conceded defeat during the party’s Presidential Primaries results announcement Saturday evening with a speech targeted at uniting party supporters and focusing on winning upcoming Ghana’s general elections.
According to Kennedy Agyapong, the election was free and fair and charged members of his party to work tirelessly to break the 8.
“I believe the party has been fair and transparent. That is the only thing I have always been preaching. And I must admit that this election is fair,” Mr. Agyapong said.
He called for unity and asked party members to put everything behind them and move forward.
“My grassroots have spoken and therefore I accept the results in good faith. I pledge my support that we are going to work tirelessly to break the 8.
We should put everything behind us and let’s unite this party. With unity, we can break the 8,” he concluded.
