Afia Schwarzenegger, the controversial self-described “Queen of Comedy,” has offered Hajia4Real unsolicited advise following her incarceration for romantic fraud.
Yesterday, February 21, 2024, Ghanaian socialite Mona Faiz Montrage, also known as Hajia4Real, entered a guilty plea to charges pertaining to her role in a romance scam.
The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Damian Williams, reportedly made the announcement that 4Reall had acknowledged her involvement in the money laundering of romance frauds.
The U.S. attorney continued, “This Office and our law enforcement partners are unrelenting in bringing fraudsters who target Americans to punishment, no matter where they are.
Paul A. Crotty, the U.S. District Judge, will sentence Mona.
As part of her plea agreement, she has agreed to forfeit $2,164,758.41 and make restitution in the same amount.
Mona was purportedly a member of a criminal gang with operations in West Africa that conned American individuals and businesses out of many frauds, including romance scams.
The business catered primarily to weak, elderly, and unmarried men and women.
The business would deceive victims into believing they were in romantic relationships with made-up identities that other members of the organization had adopted in order to provide money under false pretenses.
In response, Afia worried about Hajia’s daughter Naila in a self-recorded video.
When Hajia gets out of jail, Afia promised to pray that she may see the light and not turn back to her dishonest ways.
