Rap sensation from Ghana, Emmanuel Kofi Botwe, better known by his stage name Kwaw Kese, or “Abodam,” shared his candid thoughts regarding the surprising influence Facebook has on his romantic life.

The rapper humorously recounted how he used social media to find Nana Pokua, often known as Poks, his wife.

During an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Kwaw Kese reflected on the singular meeting that signaled the start of his amorous journey.

In a lighthearted revelation, he said that his wife was drawn to him when his eccentricity—or “Abodam” persona—was at its height in his professional life.

Kwaw Kese persisted even after first failing to establish a connection with Nana Pokua at Reggie Rockstone’s Office nightclub.

He started a dedicated search for her on Facebook, sharing, “I saw Nana Pokua, so I sent her a DM after going through rapper Scientific’s Facebook friends.”

After a week, Nana Pokua finally replied, and the rapper’s unorthodox strategy paid off as they had a chat that transformed their lives.

Kwaw Kese gave insights on the difficulties they had during their partnership, including the changes Nana Pokua had to make to fit his public image.

The couple’s love story has persevered despite the obstacles, and Kwaw Kese is currently concentrating on promoting “Awoyo Sofo,” his most recent song.
