Ghanaian gospel artist, Celestine Donkor, has opened up about the unconventional way she met her husband, Kofi Donkor. In an interview with Cookie Tee on Today’s Woman, Celestine shared that she met her husband online through a friend’s recommendation who was based overseas.
After receiving Celestine’s number from her friend, Kofi reached out to her via Yahoo messenger and phone calls. Despite not meeting in person at first, the couple hit it off and Kofi was convinced that Celestine was the one for him. In fact, he even requested for the engagement list before setting eyes on her physically.
Eventually, Kofi traveled to Ghana to marry Celestine, solidifying their bond and commitment to each other. The couple’s relationship has been blossoming ever since, with Kofi taking on the role of managing Celestine’s career for over a decade now.
