John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to keeping all of the promises he has made to the people of Ghana if he is elected in the general election scheduled for 2024.

Speaking at the 2024 NDC Policy Dialogue on Friday in Peduase, Eastern Region, Mr. Mahama emphasized important commitments like cutting back on the size of government, doing away with ex gratia, and doing away with the e-levy.

The former president declared, “I mean business on the promises I have made and intend to keep them.”

The leader of the NDC highlighted the practicality of his policy recommendations, like the “24-Hour Economy” and the “Digital Jobs Initiative,” claiming that these programs could greatly improve the nation’s circumstances, especially its economic landscape.

“Since 2021, I have presented more than sixty distinct policy recommendations, meticulously selected to revitalize our economy and the country’s overall quality of life,” he continued.

Several party factions actively participated in the two-day NDC Policy Dialogue, exchanging ideas and honing proposals for policies that would be included in the party’s manifesto for the 2024 election.
