Ghanaian dancer Champion Rolie has expressed his disappointment over the departure of fellow dancer Afronitaa from the Dance With Purpose (DWP) Academy.
In an interview on the Delay Show on TV3, Champion Rolie shared that Afronitaa had confided in him about her decision to leave and start her own project, a dance academy for kids.
Despite feeling sad about Afronitaa’s departure, Champion Rolie offered his support and advice to his ‘tight paddie’.
He clarified that their relationship is purely platonic, debunking rumors of a romantic involvement. Champion Rolie had recently gifted Afronitaa an iPhone 15 Pro Max worth GH¢20,000 for her birthday, emphasizing that she is his favorite person and there are no emotional strings attached.
Both dancers have maintained that they are close friends and not in a romantic relationship.
Afronitaa has already launched her dance class for kids, Afrokids Star Academy, and is actively involved in training children in dance.
