Veteran Nollywood actor, Zack Orji, has opened up about his recent health struggles. The actor revealed that he suffered from amnesia before undergoing two brain surgeries.
Orji, who collapsed in the bathroom, shared in an interview with Channels TV that he was in a coma for five and a half hours. He expressed gratitude for being alive today, attributing his survival to the grace of God.
The actor recounted how his colleagues, Benedict Johnson and Labista, came to his rescue. They lifted him from the second floor to the ground floor and rushed him to the National Hospital.
Orji underwent his first surgery on January 1st but had to go through a second surgery after scans showed a residual blood clot. He shared that before the surgeries, he couldn’t recognize people and had trouble remembering them. However, after the surgeries, his memory started to return, indicating his recovery.
The actor’s wife played a crucial role in his recovery, helping him reconnect with his surroundings after the surgeries.
