Rapper Medikal has disclosed that he is not aware if his team filed for nominations for this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
The Rapper said this while in an interview with Accra-based Hitz FM.
“I don’t know if my team filed for nominations this year. I have a lot on my mind and so I have bothered to ask if they filed for nominations,” the rapper told Andy Dosty.
When asked if he is a member of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), the artiste responded in affirmative but was negative about GHARMRO, the artiste indicated that he was not a member but promised to sign up in order to receive royalties for his songs.
Medikal earned seven nominations in last year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards but could not win a single award.
He became the subject of trolls because Ghanaians could not fathom why he will earn seven nominations and not win a single award.
