“I depend on MoMo to survive” – Veteran gospel musician Edward Akwasi Boateng

We could recall that, a few days ago at Kumasi VIP station Edward Akwasi Boateng, an award-winning Ghanaian gospel star was seen selling pen drives in a video that want viral on social media.

The heartbreaking video recorded the singer looking somehow dejected and broke. This drew the attention of many and since then Edward Akwasi Boateng has granted an exclusive interview on Akoma FM to confirm his predicament and declare he was the one in the viral video.

Edward Akwasi Boateng reveals sadly how he was forced to go to the streets to sell the pen drives after his children came from school to demand their fees.

Because he’s currently broke and has no helper, he had to storm the market to sell pen drives to raise money for his kids’ fees.

In the course of the interview, the gospel virtuoso further disclosed that he is now an MTN MoMo merchant.
