Theophilus Nii Arday Otoo, better known on stage as Epixode, is a dancehall artist from Ghana who has stated that he is willing to sing a campaign song for any political party that approaches him.

According to Epixode, he finds it incomprehensible that a musician in Ghana can be viewed as a social outcast, accused of being deceitful, and driven from nine towns if they reveal their political affiliations.

The dancehall musician claims that in other nations, it is acceptable for musicians or celebrities to disclose their political allegiance, hence he has no problem writing music for any political party.

He states that he is always willing to perform a campaign song for any political party that approaches him, as long as he does not cause any problems, even if he would never openly reveal his political allegiance.

The dancehall artist said, speaking on Joy Prime’s Celeb Biz, which ghpage.com was watching.

“There are disadvantages, but it is work. It’s only in this part of the world that celebrities are found wanted for making their political affiliations public. But if a political party comes to me for an anthem knowing that the message is positive, I would do it. Not to give the people hope and later be disappointed.”
