After being let go by Chelsea, Thomas Tuchel has finally spoken out and called the experience extremely unsatisfactory. The German wrote his first remark following his dismissal and also expressed his sorrow about it.
The 49-year-old Tuchel was fired on Wednesday morning, hours after his team’s 1-0 Champions League loss to Dinamo Zagreb.
In a quick, ten-minute meeting, he pleaded with the new owners to keep him on and give him more time, but Boehly and his staff had already made their choice.
(This is one of the most difficult statements I have ever had to write,) said Tuchel, who received a £13 million payout just a year after winning the European Cup.
Though his firing has not been justified yet Tuchel still wrote about the good times he had with the club especially the support from the fans that helped him add to the history of the Chelsea football club.
Moreover, even though he never anticipated this to happen real quick he is never going to forget his unprecedented achievements with the club.
