Former Gender, Children and Social Protection, Nana Oye Lithur has been lambasted on Twitter following her tweet defending of the sacked Electoral Commision boss, Charlotte Osei.
Nana Addo, on Thursday evening (June 28) sacked Charlotte Osei and her two deputies from office for “misbehaviour and incompetence.”
Reacting to this, Nana Oye, in a Twitter post on Thursday, June 28, stated that she’s in support of the sacked EC Chairperson with the hashtag #iStandWithCharlotte.

The tweet immediately boomeranged, attracting smashing tweets from her followers and Ghanaians on the micro-blogging website.
While some called her out for sharing a ‘propaganda’ tweet, others labelled her a ‘husband beater’.
