Christopher Riley Martin (born June 2, 1986) is a free agent in the American professional baseball league.
Chris has played for the Colorado Rockies, New York Yankees, Texas Rangers, and Atlanta Braves in Major League Baseball (MLB) and the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB).
Martin debuted in the major leagues with the Rockies in 2014 before being dealt to the Yankees at the end of the season.
After the 2015 season, he joined with the Fighters and won the 2016 Japan Series with them. After the 2017 season, he joined with the Rangers.
Martin was traded to the Braves by the Rangers during the 2019 season, and he was a member of the club that won the World Series in 2021.
Martin is the youngest of Connie and Matt Martin’s four children.
