On December 3, 1970, Amy Helm, an American singer-songwriter and musician, was born. She is the offspring of musician Levon Helm and singer Libby Titus. In the past, she has performed with Ollabelle, Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble Band, and her own mobile band.

Her second album, This Too Shall Light, was published on Yep Roc Records in September 2018. Her first solo album, Didn’t It Rain, was released in July 2015.

In 2016, Helm and The Pods & Sods Network had a lengthy conversation about his life and profession. That year, she and her band performed at the Edmonton Folk Music Festival.

In 1999, Helm became a member of her father’s blues band, The Barn Burners. They performed genuine blues music while on a cross-country tour.

She joined Ollabelle, an alt-country band, as one of its original members in 2001. The band went on tour and released three acclaimed albums within the period of ten years: Ollabelle (2004), Riverside Battle Songs (2006), and Neon Blue Bird (2011).

The performances, which began as a rent party and evolved into a Woodstock staple, included performers including Emmylou Harris, Allen Toussaint, Elvis Costello, Phil Lesh, and many others.
