Jeon Jung-kook (born September 1, 1997) is a South Korean singer who goes by the moniker Jungkook (also stylized as Jung Kook). He is a member and vocalist of the South Korean boy band BTS.
As part of BTS’s repertoire, Jungkook has released three solo tracks: “Begin” in 2016, “Euphoria” in 2018, and “My Time” in 2020, all of which are charted on South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart.
He also performed the song “Stay Alive” on the soundtrack for the BTS webtoon 7Fates: Chakho. In 2022, he was featured on Charlie Puth’s track “Left and Right,” which peaked at number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States.
Later that year, he became the first South Korean musician to release a song for the FIFA World Cup soundtrack, “Dreamers,” which he later sang at the 2022 FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony.
Jungkook’s solo tunes have also charted well on Spotify, with “Dreamers,” “Stay Alive,” and “Left and Right” all breaking records as the highest-debuting songs by a Korean soloist on the Spotify Global chart.
