Graeme McDowell MBE is a Northern Irish professional golfer who competes on both the PGA Tour and the European Tour. He is most known for winning the 2010 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach when he broke a 40-year European drought.

How much did Graeme McDowell get paid for LIV?

Each LIV Golf tournament winner will get $4 million, or 16 percent of the overall payout. Second place will get $2.125 million, while third place will earn $1.5 million.

McDowell has won eleven European Tour tournaments and four PGA Tour events. He has also represented Ireland in the World Cup and has played four times for the European Ryder Cup squad. He has featured in the top ten of the Official World Golf Standing, with a peak ranking of fourth (January to March 2011).

McDowell turned professional in 2002, winning the Volvo Scandinavian Masters on his fourth European Tour appearance.

McDowell was granted honorary life membership at the Royal Portrush Golf Club as a result of his victory.

In his second season, he did not win, but in 2004, he won the Telecom Italia Open and finished sixth on the European Tour’s Order of Merit. In 2005, he split his time between the European and United States PGA Tours.
