The Brasilian forward has made it in the headlines following his latest transfer move to Spurs. Richarlison has completed his $ 72,629,940 dollars (Approximately) move from Everton to Tottenham. The Toffees were under pressure to meet Premier League Profit and Sustainability regulations.
How much did Everton buy Richarlison for?
Last season, the Brazilian scored ten Premier League goals and he is said to have signed a five-year contract with Tottenham, becoming the club’s fourth summer signing.
Tottenham made a written offer of $48419960 dollars at 4 p.m. on Wednesday(June 29), and Everton chairman Bill Kenwright initially declined, believing the offer was insufficient.
However, a deal was eventually struck, with the north London club paying an initial fee of £50 million with a further £10 million in add-ons as Richarlison completed his Spurs medical in Brazil.
Everton was unhappy with the overall £60 million packages, however, they had no choice but to accept it in order to give Frank Lampard some wiggle room in the transfer market.
