In February 2024, King Charles showed great courage by telling the nation that he was diagnosed with cancer.

As new information comes to light, we will review the timeline surrounding the health of the King.

How is King Charles?

After receiving his diagnosis, King Charles began treatment for cancer.

The statement released by the palace revealed that while undergoing surgery for an enlarged prostate, an unspecified form of cancer was discovered.

“As all those who have been affected by cancer will know, such kind thoughts are the greatest comfort and encouragement,” King Charles.

Friends and family members of the Monarch report that his spirits remain high as he battles his current health condition.

While receiving care as an outpatient, King Charles will continue to fulfill his constitutional role — reading government papers and holding weekly audiences with the Prime Minister.

However, the King will be taking time off from his public-facing royal responsibilities.

It is understood that Charles returned to London from Sandringham to begin outpatient treatment.

The King’s family has come together to support him, and even his youngest son, Prince Harry, briefly flew in from America to be by his father’s side.

Here is a breakdown of the King’s health journey thus far in 2024:
