Excitement is building for the upcoming premiere of season 19 of America’s Got Talent, set to air on May 28, 2024, on NBC. While this season’s auditions have already concluded, aspiring performers are already looking ahead to when they’ll have their next chance to shine on the popular talent show.

America’s Got Talent has a rigorous audition process for performers who wish to showcase their skills on the big stage. From singers to magicians, hundreds of amazing acts vie for a spot on the show each year. Performers can audition either in person, virtually, or by submitting a 90-second video audition. If selected, they will then have the opportunity to audition in front of the judges.

Although auditions for season 19 are over, America’s Got Talent will soon be opening auditions for season 20, giving hopefuls another chance to fulfill their dreams of appearing on the hit show.

While the show states that anyone can audition, there are a few requirements to keep in mind. Performers must be US citizens, have legal permanent residence in the US, or possess a current employment authorization card at the time of auditioning. Additionally, performers under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present during the audition process.

For those lucky enough to move on to the celebrity judge audition, it’s important to come fully prepared. Performers should be “camera ready,” meaning they should be in full costume, hair, and makeup done, and bring all props with them. If performers have their own music, the production team will assist in editing the track to fit the 90-second audition time.

As the premiere date for season 19 approaches, fans of the show are eagerly anticipating the incredible talent that will be showcased on America’s Got Talent. Stay tuned for more information on upcoming auditions and how you can be a part of this exciting journey to stardom.
