Natalie Portman got admitted to Harvard after high school at age 18.

Portman believed that she had admission to Harvard because she was a famous actor.

During her speech to graduating Harvard seniors, at the Class Day address, Natalie stated that she thought her acting got her into Harvard and not by dint of hard work.

“I got in only because I was famous. This was how others saw me, it was how I saw myself,” she said.

She added that “I felt like there had been some mistake, that I wasn’t smart enough to be in this company, and that every time I opened my mouth I would have to prove that I wasn’t just a dumb actress.”

Why did Natalie Portman leave Harvard?

Natalie Portman was admitted into Harvard when she was 18-year-old in 1999.

Even though Portman had a lot of insecurities as a freshman and felt she wasn’t good enough to have gained admission to Harvard, she put in hard work and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2003.

According to the Harvard Crimson, Natalie Portman became the first Harvard graduate to win an Oscar for best actress.

Natalie Portman is married to Benjamin Millepied, who is a French dancer and choreographer.

The couple met during the shot of “Black Swan”. they started dating in 2009 and tied the knot in a Jewish ceremony held in Big Sur, California, on August 4, 2012.

Natalie has two children with her husband. their names are Amalia Millepied, Aleph Portman-Millepied.
