A tragic accident has cost the Catalans a promising football prospect. The Argentine winger Maxi Rolon spent six years at Barcelona, rising through the ranks in Catalonia before joining the B team for two years.

Along with Munir El Haddadi and Adama Traore, he was a member of the Juvenil A (under 19s) team that won the UEFA Youth League in 2014.
Maxi Rolon, a former Barcelona B prospect, died in a car accident yesterday (May 14). Rolon, who was driving with his brother Ariel, lost control of the car and crashed into a tree, killing both of them. He is only 27 years old.
