The fearsome khal or warlord Drogo is in charge of the dreadful Dothraki nomads. At the beginning of A Song of Ice and Fire, Daenerys Targaryen makes a promise to him. Drogo is portrayed by Jason Momoa in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones.
