On Tuesday, a court in Florida decided to issue a permanent order prohibiting the release of images, video, any other information relating to the inquiry into comedian Bob Saget’s murder.
Circuit Judge Vincent Chiu announced during a court hearing in Orlando that he would issue a permanent injunction requested by Saget’s widow, Kelly Rizzo, and his three daughters.
The family had filed a lawsuit to prevent the publication of any records relating to the inquiry into Saget’s death from the local medical examiner’s office and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Saget, 65, was discovered dead in a suite at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando on January 9. He’d just finished a stand-up tour in the neighborhood the night before.
According to the medical examiner, Saget died from an accidental blow to the head, most likely from a fall backward.
Saget had an abrasion on his scalp, a fracture at the base of his skull, fractures around his eye sockets, and bruising on his brain, according to an autopsy report.
Saget’s body had no illicit drugs or poisons, according to a toxicology report.
The medical examiner’s office and the sheriff’s office created graphic footage and images of Saget’s body, as well as audio recordings, during the autopsy and death inquiry.
