The Hollywood Foreign Press Association stated Thursday that the 2022 Golden Globes will not be a webcast and will instead be a totally private event this year.
Winners will also be tweeted, according to the group.
The winners for the year will also be revealed on the Golden Globes website throughout the 90-minute program.
The contentious event had previously been pulled off the NBC network television when the association was exposed for its lack of diversity.
The group also declared on Tuesday that the concert will not have a red carpet, an audience, celebrity presenters, or reporters.
Only those who have donated or supported the HFPA, as well as organization bigwigs, will be able to attend the Globes this year. During the ceremony, Kyle Bowser, SVP of the NAACP’s Hollywood Bureau, will speak about the Reimagine Coalition.
Attendees will be required to produce confirmation of vaccination as well as a negative PCR test.
