The funeral and burial arrangement for Bishop Desmond Tutu has been announced, with the number of attendees announced.

The veteran peace campaigner and South African Anglican bishop and theologian sadly passed away on the 26th of December, 2021.

Over the weekend, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that the late Anglican Emeritus Desmond Mpilo Tutu will be honored with a special official funeral ceremony on January 1, 2021, New Year’s Day. The funeral will take place at 10 am in St George’s Cathedral, Cape Town.
