Over 35 hours of coverage have been promised by the BBC for the duration of the festival, which will be the first time the BBC has televised a music event in Ultra High Definition.
Several well-known names, including Dermot O’Leary and Zoe Ball, will be in charge of the coverage.
Lauren Laverne and Jack Saunders will be broadcasting live from Worthy Farm in Somerset for a 30-minute special on Thursday, June 23, at 10 p.m. on BBC Two.
