This Morning hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby are increasingly likely to leave the show before the end of the year, according to bookies.

The presenting duo, who have shared the ITV daytime sofa for 13 years, have seen their popularity plummet in the wake of the queue jump scandal. That has seen punters place a number of bets on the pair to leave imminently.

The odds suggest the pair could leave This Morning before the end of the year

Ladbrokes are offering odds as short as 6/4 for Holly and Phil not to be presenting This Morning at the start of 2023. Phil has been presenting the show since 2002, while Holly replaced his former co-host Fern Britton in 2009. Perhaps it’s time for a change on the This Morning sofas, Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati said.

With Holly and Phil far from being in the British public’s good books right now, it could well be a case of New Year, new presenters, if the latest odds are anything to go by. Holly previously claimed that she and her co-star fully adhered to the strict media rules during their visit to the lying-in-state of the Queen.

The two presenters had been slammed after footage emerged of them appearing to bypass the regular queue and waltz straight into Westminster Hall.

Following the clip, there have been calls for the pair to step down from their role on the breakfast program, with nearly 80,000 people signing a petition to have them removed.
