Former holder of the Guinness World Record for marathon cooking with 93 hours 11 minutes in May 2023 Hilda Baci has single-handedly set this continent back 50 years.
The Nigerian chef, restaurateur, and actress Hilda Baci by her effort has been inspired by many African youth who today follow in her step to set record upon records.
Just recently, a Ghanaian media personality, journalist, and entrepreneur Afua Asantewaa took a sing-a-thon attempt from December 24, 2023, to December 29, 2023. She sang for 126 hours and 52 minutes and this is yet to be verified.
After that, a Ghanaian chef Failatu Abdul-Razak started her 10-day attempt to break the longest cooking record of all time at the modern city hotel in Tamale. She began on January 1, 2024, to January 10, 2024. She shattered the world record, cooking continuously for over 227 hours.
Now, it is the turn of a young and vibrant Ghanaian man Patrick Amenuvor who has officially started his Stand-a-thon to attempt the Guinness World Record

He is attempting to stand in one place for 7 days without seating from January 14, to January 21, 2024.
