Herbert Jeffrey Hancock is an American jazz pianist, keyboardist, bandleader, composer, and occasional actor. Hancock started his career with trumpeter Donald Byrd’s band. He appeared in Valerian and The City of A Thousand Planets and Round Planet. He was born on April 12, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois, United States.
A few of his Albums are Head Hunters, Thrust, Maiden Voyage, Taken Off, Future Shock, Possibilities, and Mr. Hands. He has dazzled audiences with great jazz throughout his career, performing at some of the most prestigious events and shows across the world in front of the most sophisticated audience. His wife is Gigi Hancock. They’re still together with one daughter called Jessica Hancock.
