Henry Ruggs update: Is he still in jail?

Free agency-wide receiver Henry James Ruggs III was born on January 24, 1999. He plays American football.

He participated on the Alabama squad that won the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship while playing college football there.

The Raiders picked Ruggs in the opening round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Montgomery, Alabama, was the place where Henry James Ruggs III was raised.

For the final two games of the football team’s season, Ruggs was elevated to the varsity squad in the eighth grade. Robert E. Lee High School was his alma mater.

Ruggs didn’t start playing high school football until his junior year, but he already had a scholarship offer following his first outing.

He caught 38 passes for 639 yards in nine games as a senior. He completed nine catches, seven rushes, three passes, and one kick return for 20 touchdowns.

In high school, Ruggs also participated in basketball and track; his timing of 10.58 seconds for the 100-meter dash is the class 7A record for the Alabama High School Athletic Association.

In November at 3:40 a.m. CT in Las Vegas, a deadly car collision occurred that resulted in the deaths of a 23-year-old lady and her dog.

The 22-year-old was detained and charged with DUI leading to death and careless driving resulting in death or significant bodily harm.
