Helen Baxendale parents: Meet William Baxendale, June Baxendale
On June 7, 1970, in Pontefract, West Riding of Yorkshire, England, Helen Victoria Baxendale was born into a family consisting of June and William Baxendale. Unfortunately there are no much available information about her parents. Her sister, Katie Baxendale, pursued a career in screenwriting.
Helen was born and raised in Shenstone, Staffordshire. She studied ballet and attended King Edward VI School in Lichfield.
But when she realized that dancing was not for her, acting was the “next best thing” she could pursue. The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School was her acting training ground.
In addition to participating in television shows including “Inspector George Gently,” “Agatha Christie’s Poirot,” and “Midsomer Murders,” Helen most recently acted in the movie “Anonymous.” She first starred in the British-Irish sitcom “Cuckoo” in 2012 as the mother-in-law of the main character, Lorna Thompson.
