On Sunday, August 14, 2022, a truck overturned and fell onto a passenger van in eastern Pakistan during heavy rain, killing 13 people and injuring five people.

Riasat Ali who Is a senior administrative officer in Liaquat Pur in Punab province said the incident had taken place late Saturday near the town of Feroza In heavy rain. They said a truck was loaded with sacks of sugar heading to an unknown destination. The truck driver might have had less vision during the downpour, causing the truck to overturn and fall on the van.
