He Ping, a Chinese film director, screenwriter, and producer from Shanxi who died on January 10, 2023, is most known for his work in the Western-wuxia film genre. He was born in 1957 and passed on at the age of 65 years old.
Swordsmen in Double Flag Town (1991), Sun Valley (1995), and Warriors of Heaven and Earth (2004) are three of his films in this genre.
Beginning in the 1980s, He Ping directed theatrical productions and documentaries to launch his career as a filmmaker.
