“He has common sense” – Okyeame Kwame on why he featured Kofi Kinaata on ‘Sika’

With regard to his most recent song, “Sika,” Okyeame Kwame has given an explanation for his decision to work with Kofi Kinaata.

Music enthusiasts have praised the song for the incredible connection between the two artists since it was released on March 4, 2024.

During a recent interview, Okyeame Kwame, popularly known as “Rap Dacta,” expressed his desire to collaborate with Kofi Kinaata, citing his admiration for his “common sense.”

The Ghana Music Awards (GMA) Songwriter of the Year title was won by Kofi Kinaata three times, compared to his two wins, he continued, demonstrating his brilliance as a songwriter.

“I called him to do a song because I wanted to know what was going through his mind. He is a terrific lyricist, and I realized it during the recording sessions—”the boy get common sense, period.” He has learnt the trade and the trick, and he is quite smart,” he remarked.

In light of Kofi Kinaata’s exceptional creative abilities, Okyeame Kwame added that it was an enormous honor for him to perform a song with him.

The inspirational song “Sika” exhorts listeners to overcome life’s obstacles and realize their objectives.
