Photographers captured several details of Harvey Weinstein’s arrest on Friday, which came seven months after women first came forward to accuse him of sexual assault.

Images of Weinstein’s arrest at a New York police station and a subsequent court appearance in which he was charged with first- and third-degree rape and conducting a criminal sexual act in the first degree involving two different women were obtained. According to Reuters, the former Hollywood power player may spend up to 25 years behind bars.

But Weinstein’s mugshot is one image that we won’t see, at least not in an official capacity. According to the New York Police Department, who made the arrest, “The NYPD does not publicize the mugshot of anyone detained in New York City,” – Yahoo News.

Weinstein was later charged in a nearby courthouse during his arraignment. According to the New York Times, his lawyers quickly paid the $1 million bond that had been set for him.

In addition, before being allowed to leave jail, Weinstein was told to wear a GPS tracking device, stay in Connecticut or New York, and turn in his passport.

Numerous of Weinstein’s accusers were following the proceedings in the background, and some of them posted their feelings on social media.

In a statement to CNN, Weinstein’s lawyer Benjamin Brafman claimed that the creator “has always maintained that he has never engaged in non-consensual sexual behavior with anyone. Nothing about today’s proceedings changes Mr. Weinstein’s position. He has entered a plea of not guilty and fully expects to be exonerated.”
