Haruna Iddrisu, the Tamale South member of parliament, is requesting immediate action to alleviate the severe water shortages in the Tamale Metropolis.
The former Minority Leader clarified that the difficulty has placed a great deal of strain on hospitals and schools, particularly in Tamale, in a brief remark on the House floor on Wednesday.
In order to provide some respite to the community’s residents, he demanded a settlement. This was hardly the only issue voiced by him.
Samson Ahi, the MP for Bodi, also urged the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources and the National Security to step in with water tankers to service the community.
