In a homage to his grandmother, the Queen, the Duke of Sussex thanked her for her dedication to public service, wise counsel, and “infectious grin.”

Prince Harry made his first public remarks since her passing, saying, “We, too, smile knowing that you and grandfather are reunited now.”

The memories of the Queen meeting her “loving great-grandchildren,” he said, made him thankful.

He said, “We now honor my father in his new capacity as King Charles III.

On his Archewell website, Harry posted a statement in which he referred to the Queen as a “guiding compass.”

“Throughout her life and now, her immortal legacy, her steadfast grace and dignity remained true,” he continued.

At Windsor on Saturday, Meghan and Catherine, the wives of the Princes Harry and William, joined them to see some of the flowers and notes left for the Queen.

When the Queen passed away last week, Harry and Meghan, who now reside in California, were in the UK since they had been there to attend Invictus Games competitions.
