Harry Gration, MBE, DL died suddenly on 24 June 2022, at the age of 71.
He was an English journalist and broadcaster and was one of the main anchors for the BBC Yorkshire regional magazine program Look North.

He was born in Bradford, West Riding of Yorkshire and was raised in a back-to-back house in the city.
His father was a manager at a Boots store in the city. When he got promoted, the family first moved to Leeds, then to York.
He attended St Peter’s School in York. After graduating, he spent five years as a history teacher. Eventually, he became the head of the history at The Rodillian Academy, which is a school in Lofthouse, Leeds.
Gration was married to Helen, his third wife. They had three children during their marriage. However, he had three children from two of his previous marriages.
