Erling Haaland continued his impressive play for Manchester City in the Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund with an incredible acrobatic goal.
After England international Jude Bellingham gave Dortmund the lead with a header after 56 minutes of play, Dortmund appeared to be set for a shock victory at the Etihad.
However, City equalized in the 80th minute thanks to a brilliant long-range shot from John Stones that beat Dortmund goalkeeper Alexander Meyer.
Haaland managed to miraculously connect with Joao Cancelo’s outside-of-the-boot cross while playing against Dortmund for the first time since his £51 million summer transfer to City, sending an unstoppable finish past Meyer.
In just nine games for City, the 22-year-old Norwegian has scored 13 goals, and in 22 Champions League games, he has 26 goals. Social media users for City were astounded by Haaland’s incredible performance.
At the moment he has been trending all week looking at the kind of form he has now. With two wins out of two, Manchester City has been able to keep their perfect record in the Champions League this year.
